My husband and I have restored many things, from dilapidated houses, to old antique furniture that most thought was ready for the trash heap; however, when we got done with these things, they were beautiful and sold for a pretty penny!

“PEACE… BE STILL!”

When we had the funeral for our nephew, Anthony, I found myself observing the relatives from far, and wide. I was hit with an undeniable truth: Without God in your life…there is no peace! Grief is a natural process, but some grieve without hope…others grieve, but know they can trust God for better days.
I wrote the following poem years ago for a contest I entered. I did not win that contest, but I did get to read the poem, and thus share what Jesus has done in my life! In the end…that was my real goal for entering. I share it now with you. -anita
