LAW: THE WRONG WAY FOR A MAN TO BE JUSTIFIED

1.) THE UNMISTAKABLE STATEMENT: (ROM. 4:13)      

a.) The promise (Heb. 11:8-10, 13-14, 16, 13:14;  2 Pet. 3:10-13; Lk. 1:33; Isa. 32:1; Dan. 7:14) (Mt. 5:5; Gal. 3:29; Rom. 4:3, 13)

2.) THE ARGUMENT AGAINST THE LAW (ROM. 4:14-15)

a.) Law voids faith (Rom. 3:19, 8:3; Gal. 2:19; Heb. 7:19; 2 Cor. 10:5; Phil. 4:8-9)
b.) Law works wrath (Rom. 7:10-11; Gal. 3:10, 12, 5:4)
c.) Law means transgression (Rom. 7:5, 8, 3:20, 5:20, 7:7; Gal. 3:19; 1 Tim. 1:9)
