THE NURSERY WINDOW

By Anita Mondragon
I believe the spirit part of every man exists in Heaven before he becomes flesh here on earth…hence, the nursery window.  God knows us before we are formed in our mother’s womb, and He places His purpose in us, as well as our gifts, abilities, etc.  That’s why He could say: “I KNOW the plans I have for you…”  Just a thought…just an opinion. -anita

THE ROCK OF AGES

By Anita Mondragon

“Other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”  1 Cor. 3:11

“When darkness veils His lovely face, I rest on His unchanging grace; In every high and stormy gale, my anchor holds within the veil.  On Christ the solid Rock I stand; all other ground is sinking sand…” – Edward Mote, 1834 / William B. Bradbury, 1863

**************************************************************************************

I sometimes tremble so faint of heart,

Though on the solid Rock I stand;

And while the tempest rages wild around me,

I’m held secure in the Father’s hand.

Though on the Rock, I sometimes tremble,

As the storm clouds of life are all I can see,

He says, “Hold fast to the Rock of Ages…”

And He NEVER trembles under me!

He’s always with me,

Come rain, or shine;

In the cleft of the rock,

He comforts me.

He covers me there,

With His mighty hand,

And reminds me,

I’ve been set free!

Though I shudder and shake,

And shiver from fear…

I’m held in the palm of His hand.

I’m ever secure, when within HIS grasp…

As on the Rock of Ages, I stand!

SEEK HIM. FIND HIM!

By Anita Mondragon
There are many scriptures in the Bible that speak of God seeking us.  Here are just a few:

I JUST WANT TO COME HOME!

By Anita Mondragon
Well…here we are, almost at the end of the second month of 2020.  I made a list of several things I wanted to do differently this year.  Things like:  Changing my diet and exercising more, was of course in there, but other things came to mind as well.  Things like, smiling more, being more kind and humble, really looking at people with God’s eyes and seeing their hurt, sharing Jesus more; then one thing really stuck out in my mind–giving up! ANOTHER DAVID…

Our Worship service at the Mission on Saturday was such a blessing!  Praying for folks with all kinds of requests.  I was amazed when I realized that none of them asked for prayer regarding their homeless estate.  They were praying for others-family members, friends, strength to witness…it was a real eye-opener to me. THE SALVATION OF THE LORD…

By Anita Mondragon

And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the Lord.

11 And they said unto Moses, “Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness?  Wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?

12 Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, ‘Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.’”

13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to- day, ye shall see them again no more forever.  -Exodus 14:10-13

14 The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

WHAT WE SAY MATTERS!

By Anita Mondragon

My son Joel and I were talking about some things this morning….  He was up at 6:15! UGGG!  He was in the mood to talk-so I listened.

He asked if I would be alive to see my great, great grand babies.  I said I really didn’t think so since I’m already a senior.

He then said that he probably wouldn’t get very old…that he would most likely die of Cancer.  I was shocked!

HE IS ABLE…

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.  Mark 11:24
