I am the Truth!

The Lie said to the Truth:
“Let’s take a bath together,
the well water is very nice.”
The Truth, still suspicious,
tested the water and
found out it really was nice.
So they got naked and bathed.
But suddenly, the Lie
leapt out of the water and fled,
wearing the clothes of the Truth.
The Truth, furious,
climbed out of the well
to get it’s clothes back.
But the World,
upon seeing the naked Truth,
looked away,
with anger and contempt.
Poor Truth returned to the well and
disappeared forever,
hiding it’s shame.
Since then,
the Lie runs around the world,
dressed as the Truth, and
society is very happy…
Because the world has no desire
to know the naked Truth.

Have you invited Jesus Christ into your heart, if not what’s stopping you.
 
You can pray this simple yet sincere prayer inviting Jesus Christ into your heart. Jesus the door of my heart is open and I invite you to come in and wash me clean from all my sins, I now know the TRUTH and accept you as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus mighty name.
 
If you prayed that prayer I welcome you to the family of God.

WE ARE LIKE BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS
 
Look at the pictures of flowers! 
 
The flowers sway with the wind.  We need to move with the Lord.
 
 When it gets dark, the flowers close up. We close up when the darkness has our hearts and we feel like we are dying inside.  
 
When the sun comes up we move towards the sun and the flowers grow and move towards the rays of the sun.
 
 Lord Jesus shatter the darkness in our hearts with your bright light. In Jesus name amen!
 
 

HE IS WITH ME

I am scared of the dark
But I should not be,
Because a very special Person
Is here with me.
 
His name is JESUS.
 
He whispers in my ear,
“There is nothing to fear”
So I lay back because

When you stand and you peer out of Heaven so grand,
And you see tired souls stretch out their hands
To plead for help, but no one understands…
Jesus, let me be your witness!
 
When you hear them weep in bitter despair,
While demon powers fill the air
And their hearts are so heavy, yet there’s none who care…
Jesus, let me be your witness!
 
As they wander aimless through the deep dark night,
Let me see them with your eyes, and feel their plight;
Then let Holy Ghost power shine bright my light…
Oh Jesus! Let me be your witness!
 
Walking through darkness, this weary throng
Many have waited, for so very long
To hear that sweet name that turns despair into song…
OH Jesus!  Let me be your witness!
 
Let me lead them from darkness into your glorious light,
By the word of your power, your strength and your might;
Let their sins, tho’ be many, like snow, be pure white…
Oh Jesus!  Let me be your witness! 

Just As You Are

As He stands at the portals of Heaven, just waiting…

He’s calling to YOU… “Please…come home!”

Ask Him to search your poor heart today,

Then, come…just as you are!

He’ll wash you whiter than the snow…

This Lily of the Valley…this Bright and Morning Star!

Let Him search your heart…

Let Him change you today.

He’s the Truth…the Life…

He’s the ONLY Way!

So…come to Him now-

Just as you are;

Let Him free you from sin…

Just open your hearts door!

When you hear Him knock…

Open it wide, and ask Him in…

For softly and tenderly, He’s calling to you…

Just listen…and come as you are!

I sit with you
I wait
My thoughts center on you
Your majesty
Your splendor
Your glory
Your love
With every breath, you draw me
The world around me fades
Your peace starts to surround me
I breathe it in
It fills me
I smile
I rest
I am renewed
I am centered in You
You alone are my peace
My hope
My strength
My rock
My refuge
Thank you Lord
I need you everyday
You supply my every need
I treasure this time with you

UNTITLED
 
Love has come
Love has won
Because of Jesus
He laid down His life
To free us of the strife,
Of sin
The cost He paid,
So He could save,
Those who believe
He rose on that 3rd day,
Overcoming death and the grave,
Now death has no more sting
If you believe in Him,
You are freed from sin,
Set free,
Glory be
So don’t hesitate,
Embrace the Love He gave,
and gives to this day
I lift my hands and my voice,
I declare I made a choice,
A long time ago
To love and follow my Savior,
He is my strength,
I have seen and still need,
the length,
of His grace and mercy
My Savior is all,
I love Him in winter, spring, summer, and fall,
To Him I give my praise,
Every day
For His love has won the victory,
and to that I shout…GLORY!!
 
 

Trials

Years ago, I attended a church where my friends and I created a devotional book.  Here is one of the poems written in that book. I share it with you now, because of the troubled times we have been living in at present.  Take it to heart…God never goes back on His promises!
 
The LORD will work out his plans for my life— for your faithful love, O LORD, endures forever. Don’t abandon me, for you made me.  -Psalm 138:8
 
 
TRIALS
 
These trials and troubles,
Don’t take them to heart;
For God has ordained you
And set you apart.
 
His purpose for you
Is more than you know…
His mercy and goodness
On YOU He’ll bestow!
 
Just rest in His arms
‘Till these trials are through…
He’ll show you His mercy
And what He can do!
 
He’s the calm in the storm.
He’s the Spotless Lamb.
He’s all that you need!
He’s the great I Am.
 
He’s the gust in the wind.
He’s the wind in the sail.
He will give you His peace…
And His peace NEVER fails!
 
He hasn’t forgotten,
Because His Word is true;
And He WILL fulfill
ALL He’s promised to you!

And sing the song of the Redeemed joyfully,
It will set you free
