I woke up the other morning with a heavy heart!  I’ve been praying for our children…especially one in particular.  All of our kids have been taught the ways of the Lord.  All our kids are good, respectful members of society.  They don’t cause problems or break the law.  We are proud of them!

 

But the cares of this world have their attention it seems.  They are too busy to attend church…and, some of the world’s views have them confused about things regarding God and the Scriptures. It appears they have forgotten our teaching.  But Jesus said, “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” -Proverbs 22:6  I have to remind myself of that verse daily!

 

Anyway, I woke up crying out to God to bring my child back to the place he needs to be, and to save his soul if he was lost.  I was so burdened about him I couldn’t stop crying.  I decided to go to my promise box to seek an answer from God.  The promise He gave me was exactly what I needed!  Here’s what it said: “Behold,  the Lord’s hand is not shortened that it cannot save; neither His ear heavy, that it cannot hear.” -Isaiah 59:1
