I woke up this morning in need of a conversation with the Lord! This remote learning, keep your distance, mask wearing confinement is really starting to bug me!

I said, “Lord, I wish You would talk to me like You used to…” Not one second passed, and I heard Him say, “I’m always talking to you, but you rarely listen!”

As I pondered His answer, I had to admit that He was right. I’m always too busy…too many distractions in this life!

Then I recalled that old song by Sonny Ozuna- called: “Talk to Me” I decided to look up the lyrics. As I read them, I changed some of the words to fit my Spiritual situation. Here’s what God showed me….

“…Talk to me. Talk to me. I love to hear the things You say in Your sweet and gentle way! Let me hear Your words so dear…tell me You love me so! Yes, tell me what I need to know as You hold me close and whisper low. Talk to me Lord! Can’t you see I love and need You so?!”

We should tell the Lord everyday that we want to hear the things He has to say…the plans He has for us. We should tell Him how much we love and adore Him! Our prayer should be:

TALK TO ME LORD!

If we do, our day will be filled with peace and joy, and the crooked path planned for us by the devil will be made straight by God Almighty!
